The ZAR Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2025. At the symposium held in Bern in early July 2025, representatives of the Foundation presented its latest achievements to a wide audience. The fact that speakers from outside the Foundation also delivered valuable presentations at this symposium demonstrates that we have always been aware that success can only be achieved through strong links with the professional community, politics, the civil service and academia. 

At the end of 2025, Franz Adam handed over the chairmanship of the Foundation Board to Kurt Morgan, and Leo Morf succeeded Daniel Böni as Managing Director. As a key co-initiator and a defining figure, Franz Adam has been associated with the Foundation since its inception. Daniel Böni also played a key role in the foundation’s establishment and, as Managing Director since 2010, has shaped it with great commitment, foresight and perseverance. Both have made a decisive contribution to the foundation achieving its current standing and to realising the technological advances and the associated significant environmental benefits. The latest Annual Report 2025 summarises the key activities over the past year at the three development centres in Hinwil, Zuchwil and Niederurnen, contains further up-to-date information on the organisation and key figures, and provides an outlook on planned activities.
